February Feature: The Mustard Seed
Update:
Thanks to everyone who purchased yarn in February, $152.07 was donated to The Mustard Seed here in Edmonton. That’s 43 meals and resources going to people in need. Amazing!

For the remainder of the year, I will be donating 5% of all yarn sales every month to a new organization. This is just a small way of giving back to the community and helping those in need, which is something I have always strived to do.
The organization that I have chosen for February is The Mustard Seed, specifically the one located in Edmonton. For over 35 years, The Mustard Seed has been helping homeless individuals to provide them with basic services such as: drop-in meals and food hampers for their families, providing affordable housing, organizing activities like yoga and dinner clubs, helping to build resumes and applying for jobs. The Mustard Seed provides basic, everyday things that we take for granted everyday.
If you live in Edmonton (or another city that has a The Mustard Seed location) and want to help, check out their website for ways on how you can help.
