Shape:
A crescent shaped shawl with short rows and stripes.
Yardage:
This pattern uses fingering weight yarn.
The sample was knit in Teal, Cloud Grey and Cream from Louet Gems on their Fingering Weight base - discontinued (100% Merino Wool - 50 grams, 185 yards).
Approximately 565 yards in three colours. The sample uses 280 yards of Colour A, 175 yards of Colour B and 110 yards of Colour C. Please note, I have added 5% to account for a small variance in tension.
Measurements:
15 inches deep and 62 inches across, blocked aggressively
Gauge:
24 stitches and 56 rows = 4 inches / 10 cm in garter stitch (blocked aggressively)
Knitting Needle:
A US 4 (3.5mm) knitting needle is the needle that was used to obtain gauge for this pattern.
I recommend a minimum 24 inch/60 cm cable.
