This is a pre-order for my 2024 Mini Skein Advent Calendar. There is the option to purchase Self Striping Christmas Sock Sets in addition to your advent calendar so please select carefully.
In your pre-order you will receive twenty-four (24) individually wrapped and numbered 20 gram mini skeins (approximately 73 yards each) and a full skein (115 gram, 420 yards) to open on Christmas Day, inspired by the photos in this listing.
Colourways will be a mix of dye styles including speckled and variegated, along with a few tonal/semi-solid colours.
The inspiration for the self striping Christmas sock sets wwill differ.
This year, I asked my youngest what her favourite Christmas movie is and she chose How The Grinch Stole Christmas. I absolutely loved this answer! It's a tradition for us to watch this movie on Christmas Eve before the kids go to bed.
The advent calendar will come packaged in either a box or gift bag.

If you are wishing to purchase a Self Striping Christmas Sock Set with your advent calendar, please see the details below:
There is an option to add a 2-stripe, 4-stripe or 6-stripe Self Striping Christmas sock set with your order. Each sock set will include one 115 gram self striping Christmas inspired colourway and a 25 gram coordinating mini skein. Each set has a total of 511 yards.
Please note that the 2-stripe sock set will not be two tonal stripes. It will either be one tonal stripe with one variegated or speckled stripe, or a speckled stripe with a variegated stripe. I need to see what looks best.
If you choose the 4-stripe or 6-stripe sock set, please note that the dye style will vary and can include a mix of tonals, speckles and variegation.
The sock set will gift wrapped prior to shipping out so it remains a mystery.

All colourways for the advent calendar will be brand new and inspired by the inspiration photos in this listing. The inspiration for the self striping sock sets may differ.
All prices are in Canadian dollars.
Due to the weight of the advent calendars, they do not qualify for the free shipping option. Flat rate shipping is available for orders within Canada and the United States. International shipping will display according to the rates provided by Canada Post. Buyer is responsible for all duties and fees upon delivery.
All mini skeins will be dyed on my Merino Nylon Sock (80/20 Super-wash Merino Nylon) fingering weight base.

Although superwash wool is machine washable, for best results I recommend a gentle hand wash in cool water - do not wring out - and lay flat to dry.
